The guys discuss how LinkedIn endorsements for mountain climbing are imperative for success, how lack of preparation and cheating is customary in the pianist community, and when a tow truck driver’s phone call outweighs a 70 ton crime.
This week, the Bummy Bears do some stuff! They spend a LONG TIME making fun (or praising) Jerry’s BEAR tattoo, and another friend unfortunately gets caught in the line of fire too. Then, after the Tattoo Critique (Ink Master, anyone?), they play another new game! New to the show anyway! Truth or Drink! Things occasionally got heavy and a bit serious.. But hey, welcome to best friends dealing with best friends. That’s not just a line they say, it’s the truth! They’re BFFs! Oh! And another Would You Rather!

Shante Griggs received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Pharmacy (2006) and has also received her Doctor of Naprapathy (DN) degree from the National College of Naprapathic Medicine (2014). She has dedicated 17+ years of practice in community pharmacy, clinical pharmacy services and pharmacy academia. Dr. Shante also taught from 2008 – 2010 at Chicago State University at the College of Pharmacy as drug compounding laboratory instructor before committing to another doctorate program in the field of Naprapathy. Dr. Shante Griggs has taken both of her very cherished medical backgrounds collectively to be at the forefront of complimentary integrative medicine. Inspired by her own challenges with back pain in pregnancy over the years, led Dr. Griggs to her doctorate thesis on the “Treatment of Lower Back Pain During Pregnancy: The Application of Naprapathic Medicine in Treating Hyperlordosis & Muscle Spasm”.
This research and limited data has also inspired her practice for more evidence based research with the application of Naprapathic Medicine as complimentary treatment & therapy in the areas of not just pain in general but pain & nutrient deficiencies experienced in fertility, prenatal and post partum care. This research, literature and personal experience also created the segue to Dr. Shante’s up and coming book series “Mommy Hurts” not only sharing her personal experiences in miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, divorce, bankruptcy, bad credit, single parent-hood and child loss; but outlining coping mechanisms, encouraging healing from the pain of each while providing the inspiration and hope to millions of women globally.
Dr Shante Griggs currently sits as President of the National College of Naprapathic Medicine (NCNM) while simultaneously serving on the executive Board of Directors as Vice-President for the American Naprapathic Association (ANA) to lead in the innovation and widespread recognition of Naprapathy (nuh-prah-pa-thee) which is Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Medicine that incorporates nutrition in healing protocols as a secondary scope of practice under the DN license.
Dr Shante Griggs most recent efforts have been focused in the education to expand the development of a Naprapathic Doctorate Program at Chicago State University, the University of Illinois among others. This effort will also create more doctors of naprapathy to serve in disadvantaged, underserved and underrepresented communities across America. Other initiatives led by Dr Shante is through her service in health, financial and political education through the New Life Movement Ministries, a Ministry for progressive, spiritual, political, economic and social change.

The boys have some fun in this one! First, Jerry and Justin decide it’s a basketball podcast and talk BULLS, much to Frank’s chagrin. 3 Points for correct usage of that word! Woo! The Bulls Brothers? That might be too old of a reference. Anyway, they test Frank’s basketball knowledge by making up some player names. And in doing so, give birth to the All-American phenom LeCarbi Hill. Once the “Sports Ball” podcast ends, they get into things like Jerry being petty if he ever had a son who was taller than him, how Justin would rip the trachea out of his kid if they sang better than him, and how Frank wishes his kids the best. What a great (maybe someday) Dad. Afterwards, Justin brings in a game to play. Let’s call it… Head Cases. And you know it ain’t Bummy Bears without a game of Would You Rather!
