Uplevel Redesign was created with the vision to make interior design affordable, sustainable, and more accessible to anyone that is craving an upleveled look in their homes. Creating a new vision and transforming your space does not have to mean tearing down walls or spending your entire savings. What makes redesign more accessible is the concept of using what you already have! In our collaborative design process, we walk through what is working and what isn’t. When you need new items, I am intentional about what we add in order to bring a complete design together, working with your timeline and the amount you want to invest in your project. I like to shop secondhand and vintage to support our community and reduce waste, as well as shop local to support small businesses.

Episode 30 – In this guest episode, Jess, my amazing guest gives us a peek into her beautiful world where she balances running a counseling practice alongside a robust candle company with her husband. Her dream to ‘live like she’s retired’ is so inspiring as she talks through how boundaries, systems, and just a dream to live according to her heart’s plan left me thinking so deeply about how I set up my own life. This episode will surely create pockets of deeper thoughts on what it is you truly want in life and how to get there. About Jess:
Hey I’m Jess! A counselor turned candle maker during the pandemic. While I still serve women to help them make small changes in their life that make them feel exponentially better, I also have created a beautiful business alongside my husband. Together we craft hand-poured soy candles out of our very small home in Minnesota. The message behind our entire company is creating safe, simple ways to connect to something you love (candles) and creating more self care, self awareness, and self love! After we went back to our businesses, we chose to continue making candles, because we created a beautiful family of raving fans and discovered we could help more people through charities we created with our candles. We have The Helping People Project, and a portion of our sales goes to helping people in need. The families that receive help are nominated by our customers, so it’s a very intimate special process.
