Embracing Ourselves at Any Stage

Episode # 15 –  Embracing Age-
No matter where you are in the journey of life, you are older than you once were…that’s just a fact! So we are all aging and all working to do it with grace. In this episode, I talk about ways to help ourselves and those around us to work through the very interesting process of moving through life in a different way. Helping to take down the ‘scary’ of evolving and help to embrace it. What if together the way we started discussing life’s changing ways and the way we honored it innately become more intuitive and uplifting, rather than shameful and stressing? Here’s my take on doing just that! Take out the anxiety of getting older and start celebrating it!

Living on Purpose

Episode # 14 –  Living on Purpose

Raise your hand if you have ever looked back to a vacation, party, or just a day in general and thought to yourself “I already forgot what I even did, said, felt.” That feeling of life passing by and the hours on the clock just being whisked away. You are not alone. In this episode I talk about the fast paced lives we are living most of the time and little ways to help slow down time. Seems impossible, but I believe that if we have more intention and clarity, we can certainly have ‘more time’ in our days to soak in the beauty of our moments. Come take it slow and get your gears turning on how to live more intentionally with the most simple of ways. Take back control and leave the anxiety of life fleeting behind with small changes to how we approach our every day lives.

#Trending Series: Pt 4: Early Signs of Alcoholism

When discussing early signs of alcoholism, Mike and Glenn take a look backwards at themselves, their experiences, and what others saw in them as they struggled with addiction.

If you are looking at this for yourself, pay attention and ask the questions laid out in the podcast. Glenn shares that by the time he was researching alcoholism, he was already on the path to addiction.

If you are looking at this for someone else, realize there is very little you can do for someone else until they decide they want to be sober.  But don’t give up. Mike knew it was time because even though he didn’t listen or take their advice at the time, there were lots of seeds planted that gave him hope for recovery.
